Gurugram-based start-up Vaidam an online platform for medical value travelers recently got empaneled with the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH). The portal, which launched in January 2016, is a healthcare facilitator connecting foreign patients with the accredited healthcare specialists and hospitals in India for treatment at an affordable price. With an Empanelment Vaidam is now way ahead of many of its peers in implementation and certification of national approved standards by a National Agency. NABH in its Empanelment for Medical Travel Facilitators evaluated Vaidam on several parameters such as capturing customer requirements, training of resources, availability of language interpreters, the range of service offerings to customers, sharing of quotations, taking feedback, agreement with all listed hospitals and accommodation providers. Till date there are 11 Medical Value Facilitators empaneled with NABH.
